I have been offering this tour in the oldest part of Barcelona for a long time for both locals and travellers from overseas. I believe that to understand what are we like now we need to know where we come from and that is what I try to transmit to my guests, and this for us, in Catalonia, is specially important. No rush for this exploration of the rich and ancient history of this millenial city. Las Ramblas with the beautiful Boqueria Market, the Gothic Quarter, with its winding alleys and intimate square. A XIVth century church that was built in only fifty-five years, streetnames that take us back to the times of gilds and merchants, and the beautiful palaces that house interesting collection of Picasso Museum, all this in he Ribera Quarter, that is also part of this tour. Beyond stereotypes and cliches, the genuine Barcelona in 4 hour walking tour. Art, culture, literature and heritage and my personal touch as local and passionate of my work and my city: you'll get all this if you take this tour!

Marga was very knowledgeable and always made sure that we were okay. She also tailored the tour to what we wanted to see and do.
Thank you Marga for showing us such a cool part of Barcelona and sharing your expertise and special little tidbits around every corner. I loved all the walking and then later going back to the spaces you shared and feeling like I knew what I was doing. ;) It was a great way to learn the city and spend a beautiful afternoon! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
