Hello, I am Moises, 11 years ago, I arrived in Barcelona and became obsessed with its history, architecture, culture, wine, and food scene. Thanks to my communication and social skills, I found my passion, showing and explaining this city to its visitors (and some locals as well). I have been a tour guide for 9 years, WSET L2 awarded with distinction in wine, and now my tours have been featured in NatGeo. Since then, many people have chosen me as their tour guide, all of them with great backgrounds, amazing energies, and stories to tell me as well! Their interests and lives are always different. With my experience and general knowledge, I have the ability to tailor my words, facts and routes according to them. It also leads me to make the best decisions before, during and after the tour, as I have encountered many scenarios in which being wise is a virtue. During my free time, I surf (whenever it is possible), Mountain Bike, and learn about wine and fragrances, two very complex and vast worlds. These are the reasons why I love doing food and wine tours, outdoor historical tours, and combining different subjects with a comprehensive storyline. Barcelona is a city that offers something great to each individual, you just have to know where to look and what to choose. I truly believe it is one of the best cities in the world and I will show you why. I studied Sociology, Political Science, and an MBA in Hospitality and Tourism management. - I prefer not to drive during tours. I can arrange a private car or a minivan with driver to give you all of my attention. - I will not be able to guide you inside of the historical monuments, most of them offer very complete audioguides.

Overview of your Barcelona tour
The perfect walking tour to understand the modern and modernist Barcelona we have today. Urbanism played a key role for Catalan Modernist architects, where they developed their own Art Nouveau style, and mixed the legends, history and current events in the late 1800s Barcelona. We will walk through Passeig de Gracia, one of the first avenues of the "new" Barcelona, the street where the wealthiest families set up base and connected with each other. Here I will explain to you Casa Batlló, Casa Lleo I Morera, Casa Amatller, La Pedrera (Casa Milà), and other important details. We will end up in the most important place in Barcelona, the Sagrada Família, to explain the symbolism surrounding it, as well as the project and the controversies involved in it. We will stop outside of each building to explain the façades and context. The visits inside the buildings take approx. 1. 5 hours each, if you want to enter any of them, contact me to tell you the recommended time for your tickets after the tour with me.
