Half Day Barcelona off the beaten path tour: from Sants to Sarrià

Historical and Modern Barcelona seen through the eyes of a local professor! This is Lluis, a local professor born and raised in Barcelona. People say that home is where the heart is, and that would be my case. I'm in love with my city! I love walking its promenades, enjoying the wonderful sunlight while admiring everyday life, or getting lost within the small alleys and corners of every neighborhood. My Barcelona is full of historical sites and buildings, I can show you around and share the local culture and history with you, not only the one written down in the books but also the oral one, the one that's been transmitted from generation to generation. This city is full of places that I'd love to share, some hidden ones, some places that only some locals know, or just my favorite spot. Let's enjoy a conversation that could last for hours while we take a drink. How about some mid-afternoon snack? maybe some tapas? Or perhaps we dig into the sweet chocolate with churros? At the same time as an Economy and International trade and relations professor, I have some knowledge about modern society, economic sectors within the city, and development of itself. Maybe there are some questions you always wanted to ask, some of the questions books hardly can solve. Here I am for you to answer them! I have always thought that one of the best parts of traveling is getting to know the local culture and its people and establishing lasting connections. I have been traveling to several places and there are still a lot more to come. In all of them, I have always met wonderful people who have introduced me to the local culture, and now it's my turn to let you experience the city from a local point of view.
