I am an Art Historian and I greatly enjoy pointing out and explaining Modernism, the most representative architectural style of my city. This tour is an approach to the genius of Antoni Gaudi, Barcelona's most famous and brilliant architect. We will visit inside the Sagrada Familia church, consider the symbol of Barcelona all over the world, still a work in progress. Interior and exterior visit. Tickets availability permitting, we could step inside Casa Mila (La Pedrera), recreated with period furniture and every-day items of the Modernist period which will allow you to have a pretty clear idea of the living conditions of a wealthy family one hundred years ago.
Your Barcelona tour itinerary
- We will start with the interior visit of the Sagrada Familia. - Continue with a walk all along Passeig de Gracia, the most elegant and chic avenue in town along which we'll see Casa Mila and Casa Batllo, and some other modernist houses by two more great architetcs. Depending on the booking possibilities, the order may change slightly.
