Day Trip From Barcelona to the Roman City of Tarragona

One hour drive from the city centre of Barcelona you'll find Tarragona, one of the most beautiful ancient cities near Barcelona. 2000 year-old structures mark the landscape and many of them were considerated of enough historical significance to be declared UNESCO World Heritage sites. Some even dare to say is the second Roman City after Rome! We will stop at the Roman Aqueduct, walk along the Roman Walls, see the Roman Circus and Amphitheater, all of them built 2000 years ago. We'll also visit the Cathedral of Tarragona (inside is optional) and have a drink together on a terrace before we head back to Barcelona.
