"Best of Gaudí Private Tour" focuses on the buildings of the most famous Catalan architect, Antoni Gaudi. You will get to know the captivating world of the architect Antoni Gaudi and some of his contemporary colleagues of the Catalan "modernisme" (art nouveau). Visit the main sites related to Antoni Gaudi, such as the SAGRADA FAMILIA or some of the famous Gaudi houses, among other monuments and buildings. Walk through Passeig de Gracia Avenue and learn about Gaudí amazing houses, CASA MILA known as "La Pedrera" and CASA BATLLÓ with its bright multicolored facade. These buildings will be visited from outside (it's most spectacular part). Should you wish to include an inside visit, please feel free to contact me in order to arrange it accordingly. The tour will cover the main UNESCO World Heritage Sites related to this genius of Catalan architecture, Antoni Gaudi. The itinerary will be covered by taxi, which is not included in the price.
Mark was an amazing tour guide! We truly enjoyed our tour today. He gave us a historical background of the city, the work of famous architects in Barcelona and of course in depth explanations of Gaudi’s work. Mark did an amazing job with this tour. We were a party of 4 and he purchased all the timed tickets in advance and walked us right in to everything we wanted to see. We packed ALOT into the day and Mark kept us on time for everything. He's an exceptional tour guide with so much knowledge about the artist, the buildings and the area's history. Highly recommend.

Mark’s deep knowledge of Gaudí’s architecture and the historical context of Barcelona was only matched by his ability to share the profound Christian faith that shaped Gaudí’s vision and work. What set this tour apart was how Mark wove in the spiritual and symbolic meaning behind Gaudí’s creations. He helped us see not just the beauty and innovation in the architecture, but the deep faith that inspired it all. His explanations brought out the biblical references, Christian symbolism, and the intentional design choices that Gaudí used to glorify God through his art. This was more than just a tour—it was a moving, meaningful experience. We can’t recommend Mark highly enough!
The walking tour of Barcelona was amazing! Mark was wonderful company and he was very knowledgeable about all the sites!
Mark provided us with an intellectually stimulating and challenging (he is a professor, after all!) tour of a range of Gaudi's work, starting with some of his earliest efforts and concluding with his masterpiece, the Sagrada Familia. His knowledge afforded us the opportunity to experience the expansiveness of Gaudi's vision and best position ourselves to view his efforts to reshape our vision of what a church should be. We heartily commend this tour to you.
Amazing! Mark was a fantastic guide! He worked with us to adjust the tour to exactly what we wanted. He was a great help with deciding what to see and we are glad we went with his suggestion to see Casa Mila rather than some of the other houses which are FAR busier. Mark had great commentary, explained everything in depth, was engaging, and even walked us to another area, suggested a spot to eat, and told us to message him if we had any questions or needed help with any suggestions for our remaining time in Barcelona. We HIGHLY recommend him and will definitely be reaching out to him again when we (hopefully) are able to come back to Barcelona.
1) Hotel, port, or specified Meeting point (not airport). Depending on location, the order of the following monuments may vary. 2) Sagrada Familia (outside; please contact me if you would like to visit it inside, so I'll acquire the admissions) 3) Passeig de Gràcia walk (no entrance to buildings, if not specified otherwise): Casa Mila (LA PEDRERA) and Casa Batllo 4) PLEASE NOTICE: Park Güell (ONLY if we acquire the admissions; please contact me if you would like to include it). It can't be seen from outside. BUT, in general, we recommend other Gaudi sites. This place has a big mobility problem, with taxis not wanting to drive to the park. Neighbors of Park Guell block systematically all streets that access the park because of overtourism and acces is made impossible by taxi on purpose. If visiting the Park, we may need to walk 20 minutes uphill along a steep slope. Neighbors may block the site completely every Saturday and Sunday.
