AN ART HISTORIAN AND FULLY LICENSED LOCAL GUIDE !!! Enjoy Barcelona with a local, art historian, enthusiast, and in love with her city!! Hola, hello, my name is Gloria, Barcelona is my hometown, and I love touring my city. I like to combine both art and history with local customs and stories to bring my clients closer to the culture and local everyday life of Barcelona. My goal is to enrich your limited time in Barcelona with memorable experiences. After getting my degree, I passed the exam to become an official local tourist guide. I've been told that I am not only professional and knowledgeable but also WELCOMING and EMPATHIC, and now I invite you to find it out yourself !! What I like most are private tours for individuals, couples, families, and small groups (up to 8). I am very VERSATILE and ADAPTABLE to different interests and typologies and can customize any tour for you. You will enjoy an exclusive tour just for you, guided by a licensed official tourist guide, and skipping the lines, a priceless advantage !!! My wish is to make your experience in Barcelona unforgettable and be the perfect "cicerone. " I have a degree in History of Art (University of Barcelona). I am an Official Tourist Guide since 2009 and a member of APIT (Association of licensed Tourist Guides in Catalonia). I do not drive when touring but I can arrange for a separate car and driver if requested.

Are you Passionate about Picasso? So am I. As an art historian I know many painters but I cannot think of any other artist as prolific, brilliant but controversial as well. Picasso is fascinating like few others! If you want to know the young Picasso, whose adolescence and early youth took place in Barcelona, the works of his apprenticeship, as well as others from the blue period and later, this tour is a must-see for you. First, I will take you to the main landmarks of the Old Quarter where most of the buildings date back from the 13th to the 15th century. The area that also witnessed in the early years of the artist in Barcelona until he decided to establish in Paris. Next, we'll visit one of the most important museums in Barcelona, located in 5 consecutive gothic palaces from the 14th century: Picasso museum.

Gloria is a wonderful guide! Her command of the English language is amazing. Her knowledge of the city and all that is in it is deep and wide. Our walking tour was so interesting historically and culturally and well as filled with fun tidbits. The Picasso Museum is fascinating in itself but her knowledge added SO much to the experience. We would seek out Gloria again upon returning to Barcelona.
Gloria was wonderful! She was patient, courteous and flexible. Her knowledge of Old Town was incredible and I really enjoyed our time together.
Excellent tour, well organised. The Picasso museum was a good place to finish. Most enjoyable.
We had a wonderful tour with Gloria, she was really knowledgeable about Barcelona's history. Gloria took us to a terrific local market and gave us an amazing tour of Picasso's Museum.
Gloria was our tour guide and she was excellent. She not only knows Barcelona like the back of her hand, she knows the history and interesting facts about everything - from the Sagrada La Familia, Olympic Village to the Picasso Museum. Also, we had a friend with us who walked with a cane and she was slow. Gloria was like a mother bear taking care of her - making sure she crossed the street safely, etc. She even ran a few blocks to get her a taxi when our friend couldn't walk much more. I would come back
-First of all, we'll enjoy a relaxing stroll through the Medieval streets of Barcelona. We'll be passing: -Cathedral's Square -The Bishop's Palace -The Archdeacon's House -The King's Square complex with the Royal Palace -The Royal Chapel -The Lieutenant's Palace. . . , all dating back Middle Ages, only a few exceptions that I will point out. The second part of the tour will be consecrated to Pablo Picasso by visiting his museum. Art from the 20th Century wrapped in five consecutive medieval palaces.
