The first time I visited Manyeleti Camp is where I learned the difference between Kruger National Park vs Private Game Reserves surrounding Kruger boarders, of course, there were a lot of opinions regarding this topic, but I'll be sharing with you the difference while we are on Safari tour. In Kruger National Park, near the most popular camps, traffic congestion at prime sightings is common. So you will expect to see a lot of self-drive vehicles on the roads. It is possible to self-drive in Kruger, or you can join a guided open vehicle Safari with an experienced safari guide like myself. Meanwhile in a private game reserves like Manyeleti, you are allowed to off-road, and, get safely close to wildlife than you can imagine, time for Safari is not limited like in Kruger National Park which is managed by SANParks which is sunrise to sunset.
Your Johannesburg tour itinerary
Day 1. (5½ hrs transfer) Johannesburg - Manyeleti Private Game Reserve, in Kruger North. The day will start by picking you up from the airport or hotel and drive to the Kruger area, upon arrival, check-in at Manyeleti Chalet. Which is located in the pristine unfenced Private Game Reserve, Mpumalanga, which borders the famous Kruger National Park. You will freshen up and start our afternoon Safari game drive. Overnight in Manyeleti. Day 2. Kruger National Morning and Afternoon Game Drive. (3 hrs) at 6am, enter the park with a Safari vehicle in search of the Big 5. Around 9 o'clock, return to the camp. End enjoy the day at leisure. At around 2pm, you will journey once again for the last safari game drive of the day in the Park. At around 7pm, return to the camp and enjoy the evening. Day 3. (5½ hrs transfer) Manyeleti Game Reserve to Johannesburg. We will check out and head to Johannesburg. This tour can be customized with a 3 Day Cape Town package.
