**About Me** Johannesburg is in my blood. Born and raised in this vibrant, ever-evolving city, I've spent my whole life exploring its streets, stories, and soul — and after more than five years of sharing it professionally as a guide, my love for showing people the real Joburg has never been stronger. Away from guiding, I run a small community NPO and about eight years ago we started a neighbourhood library built on a simple, grassroots idea. It grew into something none of us quite expected — we've been featured by local and international media, picked up a few awards along the way, and researchers from universities around the world now come to study what we built. I mention it not to boast, but because it says something about how I see Johannesburg: as a city full of ordinary people doing extraordinary things, and a place where community still means something. That same spirit shapes the way I guide. A great tour, to me, is about more than ticking off landmarks. It's about connection — to a place, its people, and its past.
