Nathan was outstanding! We were a group of 6. Our had a private tour of Soweto. Everything went better than expected. Nathan provided the perfect amount of information and communicated very well. While the vehicle was quite tight for our large group of 6, it was perfectly clean and modern. Nathan was a safe driver. Fabulous tour with Nathan. He was so knowledgeable. We loved that he shared so much about the people and their lives rather than just spout facts at us. A lot of both pre and post apartheid information. He arranged a visit inside a typical 1930s home as well as a separate local resident to take us through Kliptown including visiting a home there and meeting that resident. Seriously we highly recommend him and would definitely tour more with him on our next SA trip. One of the best guides we have ever had.

My wife and I had a great tour with Nathan. Being from Soweto he was able to explain the history of Soweto, living through Apartheid as a teenager and the various nuances and complexity of a town made of various townships line Soweto. Walter Sisulu Freedom Square which is the birth place of the Freedom Charter which later became the blueprint of our constitution. 3. We drive by Regina Mundi Church the largest Catholic in Soweto used by the anti-apartheid activists as a meeting place and also where the Anglican Archbishop Desmond Tutu used to address the people. A spiritual home of the struggle because this is where political meetings, protest rallies, community gatherings and funeral services of many political victims were conducted. Often raided and attacked by police with teargas and live ammunition. 4. We visit a Soweto family home. 5. Hector Pieterson Memorial. 6. Vilakazi Street Precinct which includes a drive past by Nelson Mandela House Museum and Arcbishop Desmond Tutu House. 7. Orlando Cooling Towers. 8. Squatter Camp. 9. Soccer City Stadium.
