It was very nice tour. A good luck at not only Johannesburg, but also Soweto. The apartheid Museum was very well done. I really enjoyed my tour.

**About Me** Johannesburg is in my blood. Born and raised in this vibrant, ever-evolving city, I've spent my whole life exploring its streets, stories, and soul — and after more than five years of sharing it professionally as a guide, my love for showing people the real Joburg has never been stronger. Away from guiding, I run a small community NPO and about eight years ago we started a neighbourhood library built on a simple, grassroots idea. It grew into something none of us quite expected — we've been featured by local and international media, picked up a few awards along the way, and researchers from universities around the world now come to study what we built. I mention it not to boast, but because it says something about how I see Johannesburg: as a city full of ordinary people doing extraordinary things, and a place where community still means something. That same spirit shapes the way I guide. A great tour, to me, is about more than ticking off landmarks. It's about connection — to a place, its people, and its past. Whether we're walking through the historically charged streets of Soweto, discovering world-class art in Maboneng, venturing out to a nearby game reserve, or sitting down to a proper South African braai, I bring the same energy to everything: genuine warmth, deep local knowledge, and a commitment to making your experience personal. My tours cover the full spectrum of what Johannesburg and its surrounds have to offer — history and culture, outdoor adventure, food and wine, or simply soaking up the everyday magic of Africa's most dynamic city. I tailor every experience to you, because no two travellers are the same. What I want most is for you to leave feeling like you didn't just visit Joburg — you *understood* it. That you saw it through local eyes, heard stories you won't find in any guidebook, and took home memories that last. Come explore my city with me. I can't wait to show you why I love it so much.

I am taking you on a journey of history, of everyday life, I am taking you to get to know, and firsthand, my home and beloved hometown city of Johannesburg. Johannesburg nicknamed Joburg or Jozi, is a wonderful melting pot of many cultures, whose traditions and festivals bring much vibrancy to the city's multicultural landscape. Our rich history and heritage provide fascinating insights into South Africa's past, while our arts, culture and lifestyle offering breathes life into the city. We'' start this day at Constitution Hill, once a jail that housed Mahatma Gandhi & Nelson Mandela and now home to the Constitution Court and fabulous South African art collection. Mining District in Downtown is the place where you will learn about the great gold rush which is illustrated by artifacts of the early days of Mining and further to Newtown Precinct to see The Bushman rock paintings in the South African rock art museum. History, Politics, Human Rights, Local Food, most authentic of Joburg, sounds interesting?

Interesting educational tour of Johannesburg prison, CBD and Soweto. Didn’t know what to expect from this tour when booked. Pleasantly surprised at in depth knowledge provided. Guide was exceptional.
Tshepo was incredibly accommodating and interested in making my first experience in South Africa a memorable one. I hired him for a free day I had prior to joining a tour group. Many of the sites on his list were things I was going to be doing with the group. He graciously substituted other experiences for me - experiences that my group leader said I was lucky to have been able to see. He allowed me to set the pace with how long I wanted to spend in each place. And he knew the city's history and stories.
