Overview of your Lisbon tour
The glorious period of Lisbon was during the 15th and 16th century, during the so call "Portuguese Discoveries". Remembering these period we have in the city the Belém Tower (today Lisbon symbol) and the Jeronimos Monastery, both world heritage sites. During this tour we will see those remarkable monuments, but also have the opportunity to visit the famous "Pastelaria de Belém", where we Portuguese insist, we find the best custard tart in Portugal! (our local sweet). This is part of our history that portuguese, including myself we are so proud of. Before we finish we will also do a panoramic view in the center, so you will have a general idea of the city, the up and down, the movement of the city. I hope you fell in love for this city as I am. I can't see myself leaving in other place else! If you don't have so much time, or if you want to have a general idea from the city this is the best tour. The order of the visit can change according to where's your hotel.
Your Lisbon tour itinerary
Hotel Belém Tower (just Outside) Discoveries Monument (just outside) Jerónimos Monastery (visit the church, unless there's a celebration and isn't possible. Please notice is close on Mondays) Pastry shop (Belém) Panoramic view in the center Hotel We will do a panoramic tour in Lisbon and stop at my favorite Top View, than we will drive to Belém area and stop near by Belem Tower, Discoveries Monument and we will visit the church at the Monastery of Saint Jerome. If you like sweets we can taste the most famous one in Portugal: the Belém pastries.
