Sintra, Cabo da Roca and Cascais – The Best of Lisbon Coast

Rita was absolutely exceptional. We actually did two tours with her — one exploring the many neighborhoods and historical sections of Lisbon, including Belém, and another through Sintra, along the coast, and down to Cascais. From the moment we met her, she was warm, energetic, humorous, insightful, and thoroughly professional. Her knowledge of Portuguese history, Lisbon, Sintra, and the surrounding areas was remarkable, but what made the experience truly special was the way she brought everything to life through storytelling, conversation, and humor. We shared a wonderful lunch with her on the road to Cascais, and by the end of the tours we genuinely felt we had made a new friend rather than simply spent time with a guide. Rita tailored both days perfectly to our interests, thoughtfully handling every practical detail — driving, parking, walking, viewpoints, and timing — so we could simply relax and enjoy ourselves. Exploring Portugal with her felt less like taking a tour and more like discovering the country with an incredibly knowledgeable and delightful friend.
