Hello, I'm Paula! Having a Portuguese father, a French mother, a 5 years experience living in Italy, 2 full immersions courses in England, my environment is international. I speak foreign languages and I'm in touch with foreign people since my childhood. Consequently I took a first degree in International Relations and then a degree in Tourism Information specializing in Tour Guiding in 2003. Since then I've been working as a professional tourist guide always willing to learn more and to meet new people. My purpose has always been to be an ambassador of the Portuguese built, cultural and natural heritage I'm so fond of. To that I add my passion for wine, specially the Portuguese ones! I'm a certified sommelier and I'm postgraduated in Wine Tourism. I love to organize wine & food tastings and sensory experiences. On each bottle there is a storytelling that I'm proud to share with guests. Drinking is quenching thirst, tasting wine is culture! You don't drink alcohol? Not a problem, there are plenty of delicacies to be tasted :-) I'm also a trainer. I teach Winemaking, Food and Wine Pairing, Tourist Products and Services, etc. Yes I love to share my knowledge. I believe that alone we go faster but together we go further. My tours are designed to be professional, customized, safe, easy, simple, fun. At the end guests feel happy, satisfied, enriched, taken care. I prefer quality tours over quantity. Therefore few reviews but glowing. Less is more :-) I pay special attention to the personal relationship. All my tours are customized and adaptable anytime with a special touch of mine. Ready? Here we go! - Master in Winetourism by Lusofona University, Lisbon. - Degree in Tourism Information, Specialization in Tour Guiding, at ISLA University, Lisbon. - Certified tour guide by AGIC (Portuguese Association of Tour Guides), member of the board for 3 years. - Certified sommelier by AEP (Portuguese Association of Sommeliers). - Degree in International Relations, at ISCSP University, Lisbon. - Certified translator by APT (Portuguese Association of Translators). - Several workshops and courses along the years to be more knowledgeable such as Lisbon's architects in the 19 and 20 centuries, traditional crafts, coaching, digital marketing... If the specific day/time you want is unavailable send me a message! I'll try to move my schedule.

What a better way to discover Lisbon than with some wine in the mix! I'm a certified sommelier and official tourist guide with a huge love for Lisbon, and I want to share my passions with you! Join me on a private tour discovering the hidden gems of Lisbon, with a food and wine tasting. My goal is to show you how remarkably rich Lisbon is, whether it's history or local flavors. The historic and charismatic neighborhoods of Baixa, Chiado are some of the right places to go. The wine & food pairing included is an essential degustation menu consisting of a light meal and 3 different wines by the glass. You'll be amazed how the label of a bottle tells you so much about the history and culture of a country! Did you know Brazil was one of the richest Portuguese colonies? Why were spices so important? Let's find out together! I will also give you suggestions to make the most of your trip. Questions about the city or about wine? I am here to answer your burning questions.
Heart of Lisbon: Discover the neighborhood of Baixa. Go to Praça Dom Pedro IV and embrace its lively atmosphere Charming Chiado: In this historical district you will be enchanted by the beautiful facades of the buildings, so well preserved! Rebellious square: Step into Largo do Carmo, a square with an interesting story that left its mark in Portugal. Wine pairing: Sit down at a local venue and learn how to pair wine with food while trying unique Portuguese wines. The degustation menu is: 2 different cheeses, ham or sausage, something sweet and 3 wines by the glass (white, red, fortified). What a memorable sensory experience! Your wine experience can easily be adapted to meet your preferences. There are other options for people who don't drink wine, allergic to lactose, gluten free, vegans, pescatarians, vegetarians :-)The tour can be customised according to your preferences, please inquire.

It's a walking tour. Should you have any mobility restrictions we can take a taxi.
17 Largo do Duque de Cadaval, Lisboa, Lisboa, 1200-160, Portugal
We'll meet at the Rossio train station, outside. When turned to the facade of the building, I'll be on the left hand side where stands the statue of the singer. For your reference, Starbucks is on the opposite side.
