Hello, I'm Paula! Having a Portuguese father, a French mother, a 5 years experience living in Italy, 2 full immersions courses in England, my environment is international. I speak foreign languages and I'm in touch with foreign people since my childhood. Consequently I took a first degree in International Relations and then a degree in Tourism Information specializing in Tour Guiding in 2003. Since then I've been working as a professional tourist guide always willing to learn more and to meet new people. My purpose has always been to be an ambassador of the Portuguese built, cultural and natural heritage I'm so fond of. To that I add my passion for wine, specially the Portuguese ones! I'm a certified sommelier and I'm postgraduated in Wine Tourism. I love to organize wine & food tastings and sensory experiences. On each bottle there is a storytelling that I'm proud to share with guests. Drinking is quenching thirst, tasting wine is culture! You don't drink alcohol? Not a problem, there are plenty of delicacies to be tasted :-) I'm also a trainer. I teach Winemaking, Food and Wine Pairing, Tourist Products and Services, etc. Yes I love to share my knowledge. Heart of Lisbon: Discover the neighborhood of Baixa. Go to Praça Dom Pedro IV and embrace its lively atmosphere Charming Chiado: In this historical district you will be enchanted by the beautiful facades of the buildings, so well preserved! Rebellious square: Step into Largo do Carmo, a square with an interesting story that left its mark in Portugal. Wine pairing: Sit down at a local venue and learn how to pair wine with food while trying unique Portuguese wines. The degustation menu is: 2 different cheeses, ham or sausage, something sweet and 3 wines by the glass (white, red, fortified). What a memorable sensory experience! Your wine experience can easily be adapted to meet your preferences.
