You can experience a "walking tour" which in my opinion is the best way to get to know the heart of my lovely city. But there's also "tour by car", in Lisbon but also to other places not far away from Lisbon. Overview of your Lisbon tour
The best way to know Lisbon, if you can, is really walking and being a really "lisboeta" (how we call the citizens). Because the several hills of Lisbon we will have the chance to stop on some top views and enjoy the city, seeing the city from different angles and perspectives. During this tour we will walk the fancy Chiado quarter one of my favorite places to have a meal and do a walk in the evening, but also the shopping area of Baixa. Between Baixa e Chiado we still find amazing shops with unique things, sometimes very small and tiny but those are the places that give all the glamour to this area. Alfama quarter you must see for your self. Can you imagine living in a place without elevator and where you car can't reach and you must walk with all your groceries until you finally get home? Let's breath Lisbon!

We spent a memorable morning getting to know Lisbon with our warm and friendly tour guide, Silvia! As we wandered through the neighborhoods of Principe Real, Bairro Alta, Baixa and Chiado with Silvia, she brought the city alive with stories of the different communities and how they developed from the Medieval era - through the Colonial Era , the devastation and rebuilding after the earthquake of 1755, to the Lisbon as we see it today.
