Hi, I’m Rui, a certified local guide based in Lisbon. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of delivering more than 900 private tours across Portugal for travelers from all over the world, especially from the United States and Canada. I’m always happy to answer questions about Portuguese society, family life, education, healthcare, housing, food, wine and the differences between Portugal and North America. I believe that understanding a country is just as important as seeing it. For cruise travelers, I offer flexible shore excursions planned around the ship’s schedule.
