Enjoy the surroundings of Lisbon and discover small charming walled towns, monasteries, that tell us about the Portuguese unique history. Discover Óbidos, a picturesque medieval town surrounded by fortified walls which hide narrow streets and colourful houses decorated with bougainvilleas. Nazaré, a typical fishing town, where traditions play an important role and you can still find women wearing the traditional 'seven skirts' with pride known today as a major surf spot. The Batalha Monastery, an intricate work of art from the Portuguese Gothic period and a World Heritage Site, followed by a visit to Fátima, the biggest Marian centre and the destination of many pilgrims after the 1917. I love the white washed walls of Obidos and the colourful contrast of the bougainvilleas. Join me on this tour to see what becomes your favourite!

Daniel was so wonderful! He gave us so much of the history of Portugal of which we knew basically nothing. Fascinating! He packed so much into our day and was patient when we stopped for snack and wine. He went over and above as well overtime. -Drive to Óbidos, main highlights. Here you'll have the chance of tasting the local cherry liqueur in chocolate cups. -In Nazaré. Free time to enjoy the local gastronomy. -Afterwords stop at the Batalha Monastery. -Finally visit to the santuary of Our Lady of Fatima -Return to Lisbon (1h30).
