I am a certified guide and I have been leading and guiding hundreds of tours in the last 12 years. With me you will visit both the well-known tourist attractions as well as the secret gems. Thanks to my extensive experience working as a private guide for a wide variety of travelers I have learned to be a mix between a scholar tour guide and a local expert. Join me on a full-day tour from Lisbon to the charming towns of Óbidos and Nazaré. This was our second tour with Tiago. We enjoyed him and the tour very much. We walked the walled village of Obidos and the beach town of Nazare, known for its waves and surfing. We were pleased that he had made arrangements to drive us down and back on a very steep road, eliminating an arduous walk. We had a casual lunch on the beach. We highly recommend him as your guide.
We hired Tiago as a guide for 2 days and have nothing but positive comments in regards to the experience. After a day guiding us in Sintra, he transported us from Lisbon to Coimbra with a stop in Tomar to tour the Convent of Christ. He was very attentive to all our needs and did his best to make the day a rewarding experience. We would hire Tiago as a guide again in a minute if we were to return to Portugal.
Tiago was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable and proud of his country and its wonderful people, rich history and remarkable progress since the mid seventies. Unfortunately, the weather was less than ideal the day we toured, but we would most definitely recommend him to friends traveling to Portugal.
Our goal with this tour was to have a private car take my wife and I from Lisbon to Coimbra and maybe see some sights along the way. We got much, much more. Tiago picked us up in his very comfortable van and safely guided us first to the old city of Obidos and then on to Nazare before arriving in the afternoon at our hotel in Coimbra. Tiago is thoughtful, perceptive of special needs and does everything he can to ensure you have a great tour and a great day. Highly recommend him and these two places.
