NOTE : A CERTIFICATE TOURIST GUIDE has been educated in a higher education level for at least 3 years in order to be able to present in an accurate way all the historical facts and bring to life the history of each place, connecting it with life in modern Portugal , when offer his/her services to the visitors. Choosing to have a guided tour with an officially licensed tourist guide will enhance your experience and provide an in depth presentation. Also the history of each place will be connected that way with the other sites you may visit, so you will have at the end a complete experience while touring around Portugal. No restrictions. The coastline hides truly amazing century-old bays, bathed by the cold, stormy waters of the Atlantic, to the delight of all those who cannot say no to an invigorating dive or the daring adventurers who face the deep blue.

What a great day visit to Sintra and following the beautiful coastline back to Lisbon. Loved our quaint lunch spot - Moinho Dom Quixote and our scenic drive through beautiful towns and seaside spots esp Cascais. Matilde is warm and genuine and our day together i will always temember as one of the special memories of Portugal. I will be back.

"Best friends for the day!" is how Matilde described her style and she was completely accurate. Matilde met us on time, and drove us through all of the sites near Lisbon. Building on our interests from the day before, Matilde introduced us to Portugal's history and connection to world history over the centuries. We had the opportunity to see Cabo Da Roca, a highlight for me, as well as the beautiful seaside town of CasCais. Throughout, Matilde was friendly, warm, and delightful. Highly recommend!

Matilde Mendes was an outstanding tour guide. I highly recommend her. Since we had 2 days to tour Lisbon, we spent this day doing some touring of Lisbon on the way out to tour Sintra and the National Palace. Fantastic mix. Your Lisbon tour itinerary
We'll leave Lisbon towards Sintra Historical Village to visit the SINTRA National Palace (the first summer house of royalty). After a stroll in the typical streets of the village of Sintra it’s now time to have a coffee break and try the traditional sweets in an historical caffé : the famous “queijadas” and “travesseiros” , cheese tartlets and puff pastries with almond cream. Lunch by thebeach in Praia Grande. After lunch is now time to drive a couple of miles along the water front and visit Azenhas do Mar : A real illustrated postcard, Azenhas do Mar takes us by surprise with its geographical location, the houses cascading down the cliff slope to the sea, bathed in an idyllic white light. Alternatively, to the Medieval Palace we can visit other local monuments such as: Monserrate Palace Capuchin Convent Queluz Palace (on the way to Sintra) Moorish Castle -The tour can be customised according to your preferences, please inquire
