Overview of your Lisbon tour
In this tour we will visit some of the most iconic places north of Lisbon: First, we will go to Fatima - one of the world's most important catholic shrines, destination for millions of pilgrims every year. We will then head to Batalha Monastery, Portugal's gothic jewel from the 14th century and where we remeber the oldest european political alliance between two countries. As it is lunch time, we will go to Nazaré, a beautiful fishing village, where surf has now taken place as main attraction. We can have a typical fish or seafood lunch in a local restaurant , or simply a sandwich and then , if we are lucky enough, watch the big waves ( and some crazy surfers. . . ) Finally and before returning to Lisbon, we will go to Obidos, which is one of Portugal's most beautiful villages and UNESCO heritage site.
