Welcome to Portugal! Welcome to Lisbon!!! My name is Glória, I am a mother of 2 young boys and I am a certified guide and passionate about my country, its history and its people. I have been a licensed guide since 2004 and there's nothing that makes me happier than show you my country, its monuments, its history but also tell you about our economy, education, health system all that through my eyes, the eyes of a Portuguese born and raised here. I love to customize my tours to each traveller, so just tell me what you love, and magic will happen. We'll have a unique experience throughout breathtaking views, thousands year old history, meeting nice people and yummy wines and food. For all this and more, I am sure you will enjoy coming to Portugal. Can't wait to receive you! Degree on Tourism Information - National Tour Guide since 2004 First Aid course My personal car where I will take you is a new black BMW X1 comfortable for 3 of you + me, 5 doors with Air Conditioning. If you are a party of more than 2 I will be happy to rent a van or a bus. Or if you are 1 or 2 persons and wish more than a standard car with a separate driver, I can also provide for a full confort Mercedes car.

This tour will take you through the Jewish presence in Lisbon, Portugal. As Covid 19 forced us to stay home, my Live Virtual Tour delivered personally and live by me using live video conferencing software, will take you on a visit that allows us to understand the living Jewish community in Lisbon and know about their history, their traditions but also everyday life. It is also important to show you Lisbon synagogue Sharee Tikva and to refer the massacre of Passover for which a memorial was built by Jews and Catholics that shows peace between religions. We also virtually walk through downtown where two of the Jewish neighborhoods used to be located and the oldest neighborhood in Lisbon is Alfama and it preserves the 8th century layout. Here, Jews, Christians and Muslim used to co-inhabit and used to do business together. In World War II Portugal also had an important role in saving thousands of Jews. There are fantastic details that I will be revealing to you during our time together! I will see you soon!
