Highlights of Lisbon Tour, a Memorable Full Day Experience

If you can see as much as possible of Lisbon in one day this is the tour. As the best way to visit the city is walking, let's walk! So we will start exploring the old areas of Lisbon, Chiado, Alfama and the city center, the busy streets, the many squares, up in down because Lisbon is the city of the hills. we will speak about Fado, black plague, the glamour of the XIX century. After a break to eat something we will continue to the monumental district: Belém. As is far from the city center we will take a cab or public transportation. This is the area where we will talk about "Portuguese Discoveries", the gold period of Portugal's history, and see remarkable monuments such as the Belém Tower and the Jeronimos Monastery (close on Mondays), both world heritage sites. We will have also the opportunity to visit the famous "Pastelaria de Belém", where we Portuguese insist, we find the best custard tart in Portugal! (our local sweet). Are you ready? :)

- Chiado still with +so much glamour, the area where in XIX century the royal family and nobles use to go to attend the Theater and shopping, still today is a vibrant area in Lisbon - Baixa or downtown, rebuilt after the huge earthquake in 1755 today is a very organized area in the city, a meeting point between locals and visitors and where we can see (from outside) the Santa Justa Elevator - Alfama one of the most famous districts in Lisbon is still amazing people living here in tiny little house where cars can't reach. Here we continue not having the feeling of being in a capital of a country, but in a small town. - Belém district is related to our golden age, the discoveries. We will se Belem tower and Discoveries Monument from outside and visit the church at Jeronimo Monastery (except there's a special event that don't allow us to go inside, please notice is close on Mondays) *I can customize this tour according to your interests
