Overview of your Lisbon tour
This tour will be a lovely way to see Lisbon. We will do a sightseeing in the city passing by Baixa and stopping in some of the top views from where we can have a different perspective of the city. We will across the bridge April 25th to Almada where we have the statue of Christ the King, a sanctuary from where we have a wonderful view over the city of Lisbon. The glorious period of Lisbon was during the 15th and 16th century, during the so call "Portuguese Discoveries". Remembering these period we have in the city the Belém Tower (today Lisbon symbol) and the Jeronimos Monastery (please notice the church is close on Mondays), both world heritage sites that we will see during the tour. We will also have the opportunity to visit the famous "Pastelaria de Belém", where we Portuguese insist, we find the best custard tart in Portugal! (our local sweet) This is the best tour to have a general idea of the city. The order of the visit can change according to where's your hotel and what time we start.
Your Lisbon tour itinerary
Pick up - Hotel Drive and across April 25th bridge going to the statue Christ the King about 30m driving Belém Tower, we will just stop near by and see it from outside Discoveries Monument (just outside) at the floor we will see the magnificent map offered by South Africa Jerónimos Monastery, we will visit the church except if is Monday (is close) or if there's any celebration that don't allow us to visit inside Pastry shop (Confeitaria de Belém, why not try the most famous Portuguese sweet?)
