Fatima Sanctuary & Shepherds' Village - Private Full Day Tour from Lisbon

Welcome to Fatima. Come fulfill a promise, come on a pilgrimage. The Fatima tour is a special one to me, since it has a deeper meaning to itself. Besides Fatima's pilgrimage being a big part of our country's culture, it's also the place where many catholic people around the world come to share and practice their spiritual beliefs and connect to God through prayer. I personally find it beautiful, the way people move around by faith. Especially due to the fact that a lot of portuguese families come here to pray! Therefore, this experience should be a must on your Portugal bucket list. Also in our tour, discover the story of 3 children who profoundly marked Portuguese society in the 20th century and their relationship with Pope John Paul II. Here you'll not only be visiting the Sanctuary, but you'll also get to know the village where the little shepherds lived, their houses, which are preserved as they were in 1917. And if you're lucky, we might even find the children's relatives! Hope you'll join me!!

- The tour starts in Lisbon, where the passengers will go on a private van straight to Fátima (one hour and a half ride). - The first stop is dedicated to the purchase of religious items, that can be blessed on the Sanctuary afterwards. - We'll then visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima. - Next, we'll visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Rosary. - Afterwards, we'll visit the Chapel of Apparitions. - Later, we'll visit the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity. - After these visits, we'll have a lunch break, up to an hour and a half. - We'll then visit Aljustrel, the Village of the Little Shepherds. - Arriving to Aljustrel, we'll visit the house of Francisco and Jacinta, 2 of 3 siblings who witnessed a holy apparition. - Next, we'll visit the house of Lúcia (site of the angel's second apparition in 1916). - At last, we'll drive back to Lisbon.
