Alex was our tour guide and was fabulous, the van he had was brand new and super comfortable which is necessary on a 10 hour tour! He is very knowledgable about the history of Lisbon and the place he took us to. Taking a small group tour is the way to go as we were able to stay longer or leave earlier when we felt like it! I would 100% recommend this tour!

We booked Alexandru for 2 days and I could not have been happier that we did. He was able to accommodate some last minute desires that I had and also was very flexible when dealing with the varying levels of fitness within our group. We had a wonderful time in Lisbon and we were able to see Sintra, Fatima, Nazare' Batalha and Obidos with enough time at each to feel like we got to see a lot. Alexandru is very engaging and easy to spend a day with, I highly recommend booking a tour with him!
Alexandru was prompt in picking us up at the cruise port. WE visited Fatima, Bathala Monastery, Nazarre where we had a very yummy lunch at Portello Mushroom and lastly visited the medieval town of Obidos. Alexandru provided tons of information about the sites and allowed us plenty of time to visit the sites. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in the history of Portugal. The walking was very manageable and for the most part flat.
Alex was wonderful! He was very patient with us in Fatima as we stayed there a lot longer than we had originally planned. We were still able to see all the other places that were on our scheduled tour. It was a fantastic day! We would definitely schedule Alex again if we hopefully are able to get back to Lisbon. Staring from Lisbon The first stop on our tour will be Fatima Sanctuary. For 1h we will visit the chapel of apparition. Also, we can attend the holly mass and light a candle. From Fatima, we will continue with a 20 minutes trip to the city of Batalha where we visit the last monument built in gothic style called the monastery of Batalha and considered one of 7 wonders of Portugal. 20 minutes more and we are in Nazare. It is a fishman village and a good place to have some delicious traditional local food. Nazare is also famous for the highest waves in the world and we will visit the places where this waves appear. Our last stop will be in the medieval city Obidos also included in the list of seven wonders of Portugal. The drive here from Nazare is about 35 minutes. We will walk along the fortress wall, look into shops for pottery in the form of a cabbage leaf and taste the local Jinja cherry liqueur served in a chocolate cup.
