My dear Friends this is a relaxed and personalized Adventure in Sintra with a "Street Buddha". We will see and learn and what no other adventure is likely to show you. From the magical Sintra historical center, the unique and exclusive Convento dos Capuchos from the XVI Century, local History and secrets, the Gorgeous Pena Palace from the XIX, or Quinta da Regaleira. Tasting the traditional Queijadinha and travesseiros of Sintra on our way to the fantastic areas surrounding Sintra, like Colares Village, Apples beach, and one of the Portuguese jewels the fisherman village Azenhas do Mar with its unique construction on the ocean cliff. On our way to return to Lisbon, we will pass through Cabo da Roca and some of my secret areas surrounding Cascais, always with the stunning Atlantic coast to appreciate and to recharge your energies from this amazing day where history, culture, and nature are connected, in the end, you can consider yourself a true Sinta local!
This was our second of three consecutive days with Igor in Lisbon. Sintra is a great place to tour with unmatched history. Igor made Sintra come alive for us. He engaged us at every turn…we not only enjoyed the day it may been our best ever tour. If you’re in Lisbon hire Igor!
We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Igor! He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to our needs throughout the entire day. Igor shared so much valuable information in a way that was engaging and easy to understand, adding real depth and meaning to every stop we made. My son year old son felt entirely a part do the tour and Igor was mindful about his needs and engaging with him in meaningful ways throughout our day. He made the tour not only informative but also fun and memorable, going above and beyond to ensure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. We wanted to experience more of a local perspective and not do what is a typical tour; Igor delivered making it a cohesive tour experience. Thanks to Igor, we left with wonderful memories that will last a lifetime. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a truly exceptional guide!
Igor was an excellent tour guide. He had a comfortable car for the journey and was incredibly knowledgeable and personable. His English is excellent. We had a great time on the tour and thoroughly enjoyed visiting Sintra. The initiation wells at Quinta da Regaleira and the Pena Palace are magnificent. We also had time to visit the Sinta National Palace which was great too. Igor slightly modified the itinerary because we wanted to spend all of our time in the area around the palaces. Igor had a great suggestion for lunch and introduced us to some incredibly delicious local pastries too. I highly recommend Igor as a guide. You will have a great time with him.
We had an excellent day with Igor. He took us to all the sites we wanted to visit and walked us through each location. Throughout the visit, Igor was a wealth of information! Providing background on not just the site visit, but also the "why" this came about. I would highly recommend anyone to book with Igor!
Igor was a wonderful guide. Very friendly, took us to great places, not even part of the tour, and has so much knowledge about everything Portuguese. My wife and I had the best time with him. If you want to tour Lisbon or Sintra, we highly recommend Igor.
Igor adjusted the tour for our preferences. Originally, it was to include the beach town but we wanted more time at Sintra. We started earlier to beat the traffic and arrive before the crowds. He knew the ins and outs of the castle and Sintra. We wanted to avoid strenuous walking and Igor accommodated us. We were on the move for 7 hours. It was well worth it!
In this adventure, we will start the tour exploring the historical area of Sintra and its surroundings areas according to your taste, from the Quinta da Regaleira to Azenhas do Mar and Cascais. This area has a lot to offer stunning gardens and palaces, myths and legends, amazing viewpoints, typical taverns, beaches, connection with famous writers and poets, secret places and much more! We will finish the tour in Cascais with a stunning view of the ocean cliff after I will drop-off you in your accommodation.
