Hi, my name is Hermes, a private guide based in Lisbon with a background in corporate events. I was born in Cascais, a coastal town west of Lisbon known for its multicultural environment. In Lisbon you will see the views from the view point, traveling through Alfama neighborhood with narrow streets, the second oldest neighborhood in Europe, will see the outside Saint Jorge Castle from 9th century, walk on the downtown and see the beautiful squares, especially the Comércio square in front of the Tejo River and the Belém quarter with all monuments and off course the unique sweet, Pastel de Belém, I can customize this tour according to your requests
Hermes was excellent. We hired him for 6 hours in Lisbon. We let him select an itinerary and he did not disappoint. His knowledge of history is excellent. And he picked a great restaurant for lunch. We would highly recommend him. And the price was reasonable.
Hermes was an excellent and very considerate guide. He made sure we saw a wide variety of sights throughout the greater Lisbon area. His knowledge of history is outstanding so he can convey a wealth of information about almost any piece of history which so it makes his commentary quite interesting. He also makes sure to showcase some present-day culture, particularly taking us to a local bakery for a real treat. He drives a current model Mercedes which is quite comfortable. Overall, he is a great guy and we highly recommend him for your next tour!
