It was our first day in Lisbon and Rita gave us a friendly welcome. We easily met her at the square and enjoyed learning about the history of Portugal and Lisbon, both past and present. We covered a good bit of downtown up to the ocean, but it was not too much walking. We ended our tour at a lovely outdoor cafe and ordered a typical Portuguese snack!
