The experience of IIWW and the Holocaust is so deeply engrained in Kraków and Poland. Krakow had been the capital of the General Government established by Hitler in 1939 and occupied by the Nazi Germans since September 6, 1939. Severe orders, terror and death became every day life of the citizens. On this tour I'll take you to unique, historical places to meet two exceptional men, the Righteous Among the Nations: Oskar Schindler, a Nazi German businessman and the owner of Deutsche Emailwarrenfabrik and Tadeusz Pankiewicz, Polish catholic, the pharmacist and owner of the Eagle Pharmacy in the Jewish ghetto.

On this special tour we'll follow the traces of victims and heroes of the Holocaust in Kraków - the Ghetto Heroes Square - streets and houses of the former Jewish institutions: hospital, working office, social welfare, orphanage, kindergarden - townhouses where Jews had to live are still the silent witnesses of the tragic history of inhabitants of the ghetto - the remains of the ghetto walls - The Farmacy under the Eagle - called as "the embassy of the normal life" ( guided by me) - Emalia, The Schindler's Factory which owner saved 1200 Jews - now the museum presents the permanent exhibition „ Krakow under Nazi occupation 1939-1945".
