Hi, my name is Agata. I come from Cracow. I am a musician (singer), and a 5 years ago I moved back from Boston MA (USA) where I spent the last 4, 5 years studying at the Berklee College of Music. Now I am performing mainly in Europe. I am attending the PhD program at the Jagiellonian University, where I also teach (Management sciences, Humanities). Organizing trips in Cracow and its area - this is my passion. I am very proud Cracovian and I enjoy very much hosting people from all over the world. I love to cook and eat, tell the stories and legends or just discuss the current political situation in Poland ;) I can show you Cracow: Old Town, Kazimierz, Podgorze or industrial Nowa Huta. I can also take my guests to Cracow's surroundings - Salt Mine in Wieliczka, Zakopane, Zawoja, Tarnow, Czorsztyn - just name the place, I will organize the trip with the pleasure. Basically showing around my beautiful city to foreign guests is always a great adventure for me, as well as the opportunity to meet new people. I travel very often on my own, so I know how to settle my guests in a new place. Waiting for the challenges - all customized trips are welcome! Guys! Polish folklore is captivating, the cuisine is really delicious, polish history is really interesting. I would like to show you the cultural richness of my region. Or, I can just take you for a beer/ coffee to one of the legendary pubs in Krakow and show you so called "must see". Did you know that in Polish, the word KIELBASA has been known since the 15th century? In Saxon times, a good gentry cook should have been able to cook sausage in 24 ways. How about the cheese? If we ask someone with what country he associates with it, we will immediately receive the answer that with France or Switzerland. However, according to archaeological research, the oldest proof of cheese production in the world was found 7, 500 years ago in Poland, and more precisely in Kujawy. . By education I am a musician, cultural expert, and historian. I am currently working at the Institute of Culture. Also, for 5 years I have been running a culinary blog, because food is my passion as an inseparable component of culture. As part of this trip, we will go to the local market and sample various foods. After that we will go to lunch in a restaurant that specializes in Polish (Cracovian!) dishes and liquors. We can also add a cooking class, if you'd like to learn how to make pierogi or a beet soup.

The food tour with Agata was the highlight of our trip! She is young, fun-loving, and energetic, and her enthusiasm was contagious! Agata took us to a wonderful variety of places and introduced us to delicious Polish foods while sharing the personal stories and traditions behind them. We especially appreciated the opportunity to experience some of the local spots we would never have discovered on our own, like the Stary Kleparz. The food was delicious, the company was delightful, and we came away with some wonderful memories of Kraków. We did a city tour with her as well which was also fantastic.
