Gdańsk - Old Town (Main Town) - shore excursion half day tour

I pick you at the harbour (Gdańsk or Gdynia) and we drive to the center of Gdańsk. (Gdańsk port - 15 minutes drive, on the way we see Westerplatte monument (start of II World War), Gdańsk Football/Soccer stadium and stop at the European Solidarity Center for a short walk. Gdynia 45 min to 1 hour drive through the center of Gdynia). Next, we go for a guided walk at the Main Town district - about 2 km, 2, 2 yards. On our way, we visit the heart of the Main Town - Long Street and Long Market, with beautiful old decorated houses, Neptuns Fountain, Main Town Hall and Arthur's Court. Next, we pass through Green Gate to see the riverside, old harbour with a view to Grannary Island from Green Bridge. We see the Old Crane, beautiful St. Mary's Street and enter huge St. Mary's Basilica to see it's vast interior filled with old legends. Optional climb to the view point at the top of the church's tower (409 steps - 82 meters, 246 feet high). Then we have an amber polishing presentation in one of the amber galleries.

We begin at the harbour (Gdansk or Gdynia, depending where your cruiseship arrives). Next we drive to the historical center of Gdansk (20 minutes froh Gdansk harbour or 1 hour from harbour in Gdynia). Once there, we go for a guided walk at the Main Town district (old historical center of Gdansk). We drive back at the end of the tour.
