✅ We'll begin after meeting at your lodging when I pick you up early in the morning. ✅ We'll then depart in a two and a half hour drive, during which I'll share the history of the Mayans with you as well as an introduction to Chichén Itzá & Ek Balam ✅ On arrival, we'll begin our 3 hour exploration, starting with the main Plaza of the legendary city. ✅ We'll proceed to come across buildings with religious, ritual, military, sacred & commercial purposes such as: El Castillo or Templo of Kukulkan, Venus Platform, The longest ballcourt in Mesoamerica and its fine reliefs, emple of the Jaguars, Platform of the eagles and jaguars. ✅ Experience the warmth of Yucatecan hospitality and the authentic flavors of Mayan cuisine at La Casa de la Tía Kaua, a charming family-run eatery near Chichen Itza. This is more than just a meal—it’s a cultural experience that takes you deep into the traditions of the Yucatán.
