== Please send a message before booking! Thank you! === Hello or "Konnichiwa!" I am Sachimi, a nationally licensed English-speaking Private Tour Guide living in Tokyo. I have guided more than 1200 people from over 40 countries in the past 3 years after the pandemic. I enjoy meeting people from different cultural backgrounds and sharing them with each other! I am also eager to share the beauty and great aspects of Tokyo I was born in Kobe, in the Western part of Japan, near Kyoto. More recently, I have been living in Tokyo for 18 years. I have one son who is 17 years old. While I have already lived in Tokyo for quite a long time, I always discover many new and intriguing things that I am eager to share with my private tour clients. Tokyo has so many things to see and do, many attractive sightseeing spots and experiences including nature. I would love to show you around the iconic sights of Tokyo as well as the numerous hidden gems off-the-beaten tourist path. All of my tours are private and fully customizable to meet your personal desires and interests. My interest in Japanese culture includes traditional arts and crafts, Japanese tea and confectionery, calligraphy, Kimono, traditional tea ceremonies and theater such as Kabuki, Noh and Bunraku. I also love to stroll around town enjoying the lovely gardens and historic architecture. I have always been interested in or curious about cultural activities, and I have experienced some of them by myself. I have practiced calligraphy, tea ceremony, making Japanese confectionery and even know how to wear Japanese Kimono the traditional way! "Treasure every encounter" is the primary teaching by Sen-no Rikyu, the perfecter of the tea ceremony, and means each encounter you experience is a very precious and once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I really like this concept and I am doing my best to embrace it by showing my heartfelt hospitality to all the guests I meet! I am a friendly, personable, and adaptable person and will provide you with a comfortable and enjoyable tour with traditional hospitality, "omotenashi" in Japanese. Please let me help you experience these magnificent things during your visit to Japan. You will have a truly memorable experience! Warm regards, Sachimi National Licensed Tour Guide (English) No.EN03644 Certified Domestic Itinerary Control Manager I am not able to provide early morning (before 9 AM) or night tours due to family commitments. I am not a driver, but I can arrange a private car separately if you request for your tour.

Kamakura is a seaside town located 50km southwest of Tokyo and a very popular destination for visitors to Tokyo. It takes just about one hour to get there from central Tokyo by train and is the perfect place for a day excursion to experience a contrasting change from the hustle and bustle of the big city. While on the tour, I will tell you about the history of the town, where the Samurai based their government and it flourished as the Shogun's capital from the late 12th century to the mid 14th century. There are many famous Zen Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines and the remains of many historical sites. The highlight is visiting Hasedera, my favorite place to take the guest, with beautiful seasonal flowers, great view and of course great temple. This is a wonderful way to experience the environs outside of Tokyo with a fascinating bit of local history and culture. We will enjoy not only tradition but also beautiful nature. This private tour can be customized to meet your personal preference.
