Hi, my name is Yasuko. I am an eclectic tour guide and interpreter. My tour will be custom made just for you. Whether you choose fashion, food, history, museums, or sports, etc. , I promise we will have fun! I earned an M. A. from the University of Illinois. I worked with an American company for years. I like to swim and bike. I live in the west-central Tokyo. I also lived in London, Chicago and Springfield, and traveled around the world. I liked people and enjoyed living anywhere I went. Tokyo is a big city, so it has many places to see - almost anything you can imagine! Here we can walk and use public transportation or I can arrange a taxi or van for you. This is the second time that we have booked a tour with Yasuko. She was a great Tokyo area guide on our first visit and outdid herself on our most recent outing. As it turns out, we knew that there was rain likely on this weekend booking in Tokyo, so we asked Yasuko to change the plans to include more indoor stops, including some store visits in central Tokyo, plus some unique shrine stops. This, of course, made for a great day, particularly enjoyed by the two shoppers in our group! Yasuko's knowledge of Tokyo and how to get around shined again! She's an outstanding guide!

Excellent tour from preplanning to finish. I had good communication with Yasuko before the tour to decide which sites we would like to see. She met us (3 couples in our 70’s) along with the driver of a comfortable van for six at our hotel and gave us a very personalized tour. Yasuko is a kind and knowledgeable guide with much experience in leading tours of this wonderful city. Her English language skills are impeccable, and her demeanor is personable and professional. The van and the driver were also excellent. We were all highly satisfied with the experience. Thank you again, Yasuko!

We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Yasuko. She was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and so friendly. The van made transportation between sights easy.
