Hi, I am Junko, a national licensed tour guide in English. I can also speak Italian to have a normal conversation. I was born and raised in Tokyo so I could say that I know Tokyo inside out. I believe Tokyo is one of the most beautiful and traditional cities as well as a modern and exciting one. In addition to famous tourist sites, there remain many attractions and must-see spots that are not well known among tourists. I have experiences in Japanese calligraphy, flower arrangement, and tea ceremony. I love flowers and visiting gardens. I also love cooking and eating. I like Japanese history and cultures that are closely related to Japanese religions, Shintoism and Buddhism. So I studied Buddhism for two years in English to provide foreign visitors with information about Japanese history and cultures more properly. I have had experiences of guiding foreign tourists as a volunteer guide for several years before becoming a licensed tour guide in 2017. So I can give you useful suggestions in traveling Japan. I truly like meeting people from different countries and cultures, and sharing the fun of discovering Tokyo and its vicinity. I can always tailor the tour to fit your interests and prepare an itinerary so that your stay will be unforgettable. Why don't you explore Tokyo with me? Please feel free to contact me at any time! I am looking forward to meeting you in Tokyo. - National Government Licensed Tour Guide (Registration number EN04937) - Certified Domestic Tour and Travel Planner I am not a driver. I can accompany you in public transportation(subway, JR line, Bus, or taxi), in your vehicle, or I can help your arrangement for a separate car and driver.

Discover Tokyo’s rich history and culture in just four hours. Instead of rushing through the city, this tour focuses on key locations, offering a deeper and more immersive experience. We will visit historic shrines and temples, traditional streets, and areas that still retain the atmosphere of the Showa period, allowing you to experience Japan’s culture and daily life. This journey takes you through Tokyo’s transformation from the Edo period, when it was still called “Edo” 400 years ago, through the Meiji and Showa eras, to the present day.
