Tokyo Highlights Tour - Quick Look in 4 Hours

Ken was a great guide. He thoroughly and patiently guided us through navigating Tokyo's transportation system. At the end of the guild I felt very comfortable doing it on my own. He also took us to some of the top spots and a few local places we would have never thought to go. He is very knowledgeable about the history and provided nice insights to the places we visited. What was also really cool, is he showed us the etiquette for blending in with the Japanese culture.

Ken's itinerary for my wife and I - first timers to Tokyo - was superb! Solely using the train/subway system and walking (almost 6 miles), we saw an interesting mix of both commercial (including major landmarks like Shibuya Crossing, the Emperor's Imperial Palace, Senso-Ji Temple, etc.) and residential (Bunkyo - Nezu neighborhoods, Nezu shrine and gardens, etc.). The pace was perfect. What was maybe most impressive was Ken's knowledge of Tokyo past and present, as he answered every one of our questions and provided background information when appropriate. We thought it was a major benefit that Ken was raised in Tokyo and therefore familiar with its culture both past and present. Prior to the tour, Ken was prompt and responsive to multiple emails mostly pertaining to a meeting place...... We both recommend Ken!

We appreciated the time that Ken took in answering all of our questions during the tour and some that I had prior as well. He was a great ambassador and was able our tour to finish near some other plans we had made for that evening.

Ken san was an outstanding guide - not only an expert in his city but truly took on board our interests and shaped the tour accordingly. He also provided many snippets and tips for successfully navigating Tōkyō. We loved our time with him and recommend.

Ken was a fabulous tour guide and showed us some of the great highlights in Tokyo. He was well prepared, flexible, and even helped us learn the transit system and interpreted for us when we needed to obtain a physical pasmo card, which are no longer provided at the automated kiosks. There is no way we would have known to request one in person without his guidance. He's very friendly, very knowledgeable of the history of every site we visited and Japan in general. He was also very easy to talk to!
