Hi, I am Junko, a national licensed tour guide in English. I can also speak Italian to have a normal conversation. I was born and raised in Tokyo so I could say that I know Tokyo inside out. I believe Tokyo is one of the most beautiful and traditional cities as well as a modern and exciting one. In addition to famous tourist sites, there remain many attractions and must-see spots that are not well known among tourists. I have experiences in Japanese calligraphy, flower arrangement, and tea ceremony. I love flowers and visiting gardens. I also love cooking and eating. I like Japanese history and cultures that are closely related to Japanese religions, Shintoism and Buddhism. So I studied Buddhism for two years in English to provide foreign visitors with information about Japanese history and cultures more properly. I have had experiences of guiding foreign tourists as a volunteer guide for several years before becoming a licensed tour guide in 2017. So I can give you useful suggestions in traveling Japan. She helped us with all of the Japanese translation, coordinated with our driver throughout the day for the easiest transport possible, made pivots to our itinerary when we took longer in the the parks, and helped find the most amazing foods. Excellent introductory tour of Tokyo with good itinerary, ideal way to get taste of the city and how to negotiate subway transport system, which has great city connections.
