※If you wish to book, please contact me before making a reservation. Hello, I'm HIROYUKI M, but please call me HIRO as Hiroyuki may be difficult to pronounce for non-Japanese guests. I was born in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture and raised up in Hyogo until the age of 22. I'm now in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan. After graduating from University, I started my career as a bank clerk and worked in a Tokyo head office, as well as in branches in Tokyo, Osaka and Düsseldorf in Germany for 35 years. My hobbies are travelling, camping, visiting Japanese castles and eating delicious ramen noodles in Tokyo. I'm a certified English speaking tour guide and also certified tour conductor that can offer private tours in Tokyo, Nikko, Kamakura, Mt. Fuji, Hakone and so on. Especially, if you are intrested in ramen in Tokyo, railways & Japanese castles, I'm the right person to customize your tours. I'm looking forward to meeting you! Kobe University - Faculty of Economics Graduate Nationally Licensed Guide Interpreter Certified Tour Conductor I do not have any restrictions in regards to my guiding, I can offer a full range of experiences.

On this tour, I'll take you to Asakusa area where you can find traditional goods, foods, games and fashion. Besides this, we'll dive into religion by visiting Senso-ji temple, the oldest one in Tokyo. Here I'll tell you about about Japanese Buddhism and how to pray at temples. But there's one more important religion aside from Buddhism in Japan: Shinto. We're going to visit Meiji Jingu, Tokyo's most important shrine, where I'll share which are the main differences between Buddhism & Shinto. Japan is also widely known due to its seafood, and we'll be visiting the world's largest Tsukiji fish market which has about 400 shops. Here, you could even find a good restaurant to have lunch at or buy skewered food at small food stands. After learning of Japanese food & religious culture, we'll be able to go shopping where you could find lots of cute (Kawaii) items! To me, the most impressive part of this tour is that it covers all aspects of Tokyo for you to see, so it's a perfect chance to know old & new Tokyo.
·First, I'll meet you at the place that you request, such as the hotel lobby or the cruise ship port. ·We'll then head to the Tsukiji fish market. ·Around an hour later, we'll visit the Senso-ji temple, located in Asakusa. ·Approximately an hour after, we'll reach the Meiji-jingu shrine. ·You'll then enjoy walking in a man-made forest leading to the temple's main hall. ·What follows would be the the centre of Japanese fashion, Harajuku shopping street, around an hour afterwards. ·The tour would later finish at the Harajuku station.
