Tokyo is a unique city. In a fascinating way it encorporates elements from both old and modern Japan. This three day tour will take you to some of Tokyo's most attractive tourists destinations and will allow you to experience both the top notch 21 century and the traditional faces this beautiful city has. The set is divided into two 6 hours long day tours and one 4 hours long night tour. The order of these can be chosen to suit the client's schedule. The night tour has a visit to an izakaya (traditional Japanese pub) for a light evening meal. Please, let me know if you prefer to eat at a different type of restaurant. If you are interested in shopping I can arrange the itinerary accordingly. Please, be aware this is a walking tour so be prepared to walk more than your 10, 000 daily steps. If walking is an issue, this tour may not be suitable for you with its current itinerary. Please, contact me in advance so I can make adjustments if possible
Day 1 - 6 hours - Pick up from your hotel - Go to Asakusa. Visit Sensoji Temple and Nakamise street - Go To Tsukiji Fish Market. Enjoy a delicious sushi lunch there - Visit Yanaka. Stroll through the neighborhood with its numerous temples and traditional crafts shops Day 2 - 4 hours - Pick up from your hotel at 5 pm - Visit Shibuya Crossing for some hip energy and city lights - Dinner at an izakaya, traditional Japanese pub - Go to Shinjuku. Visit the Metropolitan Gov. Building for a bird-eye view of the city by night - Go to Omoide Yokocho for a stroll down the alley lined by tiny pubs. - A stroll through Kabuki-cho - Return to hotel Day 3- 6 hours - Go to Harajuku, visit the Meiji Shrine at the Yoyogi Park - Sightseeing at Nihonbashi - the stylish heart of Tokyo - Deli lunch at the roof top terrace of the Mitsukoshi Department store - Visit the Tokyo Station area and the Imperial Palace Gardens. - Return to hotel OR you can stay in the city
