I started the tour guide career in 2013, mainly to assist private and walking tours in Tokyo and Kamakura for more than 50 days. In addition to watching sports events and movies, I like city walking in modern Tokyo, especially Shibuya, Ginza, and Roppongi, etc. Learning histories is also one of my favorite hobbies, which made me become a volunteer guide in the Edo Tokyo Museum since 2016. My tour will focus on the interests of foreign guests through advanced negotiation and communication in order to finalize the spots and itinerary. The itinerary will be selected from major commercial districts (such as Shibuya, Shinjuku, Akihabara, Ginza) , popular sightseeing places (Imperial palace, Asakusa, etc. ) as well as famous architectures and building (Tokyo tower, Tokyo Sky Tree, Tokyo Government Building, etc. ) . Locating 60km to the south of Tokyo and an hour ride of train, Kamakura used to the capital of the first Samurai government from end of 12th century to early 14th century, and is still a very popular city for Japanese and foreign visitors. This tour will mostly cover central Kamakura which is the most lively part in the city. We will visit Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, the headquaters of Kamakura government through the busy Komachi street. Then taking the popular local train, called Enoden, to Hase station and stroll the area to view the 'Great Budda in Kamakura' and visit a famous Hase-Tera (Hase temple) to appreciate a massive wooden statue of Kannon.
