Hello, I'm Eelise from Malaysia. I have experience touring small groups to some local hidden area around my neighborhood. I'm friendly and love meeting new friends. I'm a mother of 2 boys and I've lives in Tokyo 1/3 of my life and are familiar with the people, culture and the places in Japan. Spring is great for visiting flowers park with amazing breath-taking views, Summer hiking, mountains climbing and sea, Autumn are great to enjoy the colorful mountains and trees, Winter will be fill with lots of romantic illuminations and lights up everywhere in the city and at the parks. In which ever seasons that you choose to come, this country will never let you down and there are lots to see all over Japan. I have lived in several foreign countries and I love each and every country and have loved exploring every place I have been. The experienced of living in foreign countries has opened up my eyes to many different cultures and people. Let me show you the Real Japanese Sumo in the Sumo world. You get a chance to watch up close Sumo demonstration by a Former Pro-sumo wrestler. This is one of my favorite attraction in Tokyo and getting to know them more in person and you get to learn the techniques and the rules in Sumo and how they are train everyday to make them fit and strong. At the end of the demonstration you will get a chance to challenge the Sumo and get to 'fight' with the Sumo wrestler. Its a great experience and activity for both adults and kids. You will never regrets to join this event and it will be your most memorable experience in your life. Sumo lunch will be serve (Chanko, Its the typical Sumo's food). Next I will show you Asakusa Sensoji, the oldest and the most popular temple in Tokyo. Nakamise Dori is the oldest shopping street in Tokyo. There are 180 shops selling Japanese sweet, snacks and its a good place to look for souvenir.
This Sumo Experience was a fun experience, informative and quite entertaining. But the highlight was certainly our guide Eelise who we spent the entire day with. She is so knowledgeable about Tokyo and took us all over the city. if you have a chance to book any of the tours she leads, do not hesitate to do so, I promise you will not be disappointed. Eelise is a fantastic guide and her English is impeccable.
Eelise was an amazing tour guide! Our family loved spending the day with her - I wish we could have spent more time with her. Eelise first took up to the Outer Market where she showed us all the best vendors, then she took us to the sumo experience where we got to watch professional sumos and even got to participate, finally she took us to the Senso-ji temple where she gave us great information about the difference between temples and shrines and all of the practices that go along with visiting them. Eelise was kind and knowledgeable. She organized a 7 Hour privately curated experience with Tea Ceremony, Sumo Experience, walking tour of Senso-ji Temple and surrounding Asakusa District. We ended the Tour with a walking tour of Shinjuka District. We had a great day and experience.
My family had a wonderful time with Eelise in Tokyo. So much to see and do in Tokyo than can be accomplished on a short shore excursion, but Eelise made our tour memorable. We got to experience teamLab Borderless and the "Shibuya Scramble." We visited the Meiji Jingu Shinto shrine in picturesque Yoyogi Park. Then she accompanied us on a shopping spree at a Don Quijote mega store and along a popular and trendy pedestrian street mall for snacks and souvenirs.
A+ in every way. Eelise was knowledgeable, engaging, adaptable, and overall a lovely person. Her English is also perfect. The tour itself was fun and exactly what we needed. Would definitely use her again if we are ever back in Tokyo.
What a great day we had with Eelise. Her knowledge of the sights of Tokyo was exceptional. We would recommend her services every time. We tailored our tour to fit the time we had in the city with input along the way to ensure we could fit it into the time we had.
