A whole day (7 hour) tour in which you will discover the highlights of this incredible historic yet ultra-modern city. The world's largest city has an amazing array of sites that will give you a flavor of historic, traditional Japan and its unique culture. On this tour, we will visit contrasting neighborhoods such as Asakusa, Tokyo(Imperial palace), Shibuya and Tsukiji. This will allow you to see historic temples, the famous imperial palace and the towering Tokyo skytree. No trip to Tokyo is complete without a visit to the famous Shibuya crossing and the Neon lit Shinjuku neighborhood. We will explore all these districts together. We will also visit the largest fish market in the world, giving you a chance to try freshly caught local fish! This tour will allow you to get a real feel for Tokyo, one of the most unique cities on the planet, and create lasting memories of your time in the largest city on Earth. I can customise the tour to suit you if there is anything else you wish to include.
-Pick up at your hotel Tsukiji Fishmarket The largest fishmarket in the world. Recently underwent a refurbishment however still offers a great chance to experience the cornerstone of much of Japan's famous cuisine - fresh fish! 10am: Asakusa The capital's oldest temple (Sensoji temple) and Nakamise-dori shopping street, an excellent place to buy traditional souvenirs and try Japanese street food. Tokyo Sky Tree, the world's first tallest tower. You can have loads of amazing street food here! Optional traditional Rickshaw ride around the neighbourhood, an excellent opportunity for photographs. 1pm: Ginza, Imperial palace and Tokyo station. Here we can explore the historic Imperial palace, home of the Japanese Emperors for over 500 years. This ancient palace sits near to the modern Ginza shopping neighbourhood only a short walk away. ・Shibuya Crossing : The heart of Tokyo's streets and rumoured to be the busiest intersection in the world. We can visit a traditional Ramen restaurant if you desire
