Half Day Private Tour of Tokyo's Yanaka Ginza and Nezu Shrine

Tokyo is a city where the ultra modern coexists with the traditional and old. While the modern high-rise buildings are easy to spot, there are many small gems of neighborhoods preserving the old charm of the capital that are not easy to find. This tour will take you to one of them - Yanaka, where time seems to have stopped and the ambience of the city from decades ago can be still experienced. The area has charming little temples and many locally owned shops where you can find snacks and food, traditional crafts and beautiful pottery. It is an opportunity to enjoy some of those and do your souvenir shopping too. We will then visit the famous Nezu Shrine with its tunnel of bright red Torii gates. The buildings of the shrine remind of those in Nikko's Toshogu and have beautiful wood carvings and paintings. Nezu shrine is also famous with its azalea gardens. Starting from the middle of April till the middle of May the gardens burst in every nuance of pink you can imagine and are a sight to be seen.
