Before becoming a guide, I traveled Spain, Barcelona and enjoyed the trip very much. And I went to Shibuya station just after that trip. When I arrived the Shibuya station, I felt something different feeling on the spot I never did before. It's like a same feeling as I had been in Barcelona, which is exciting, international people, busy color, bright and lively. And I thought when foreign people come here, they definitely feel the same as me. I still remember that moment when I felt such excited, " It's awesome! I'd like to help them to enhance their trip. " Then I've studied and learned about my country's history and culture, which was really fun. After I learned a lot, got more interested in the various culture like, art, architecture, Bonsai, Sake, festival and so on. I changed the point of view of each town. Each place has its own culture and uniqueness. I find exciting just walking in Tokyo. I really love this job. I want to share my love and passion on my job with you. Tokyo has a very long history, so it's a very exciting city with a mix of old and new. Visiting the most serene Shinto shrine which located at next to hustle and bustle popular shopping street. Then next is the oldest Buddhist temple in Tokyo where the most popular tourist site for foreign visitors. Please feel the Edo period there. You can feel the different air between the two places! We can go to Kappapashi shopping street (specialty for kitchen tool, including knives, dishes and plastic food display) instead of Omotesando shopping street (Luxury brand shops street) Let's explore many fun spots with me.

Kumi was great! She took us around Ginza, showed us some lovely hidden Shintu Shrines, talked to us about culture and history, and arranged lunch at a really lovely sukiyaki restaurant. Highly recommended.

Kumi is such a knowledgeable guide. She really knows her way around Tokyo. We did a half day tour with her. She showed us so much in that time we had with her.
