Hideaki has a detailed list of sites you might like to see. He then develops a customized tour to make the best use of your time. We had him booked for two days, and he was most gracious in extending our Day 1 tour to allow us to avoid more of the inclement weather forecasted for day 2. This may have impacted his personal schedule, but it made out time in Tokyo much more enjoyable. His knowledge of the Tokyo metro system is amazing! Be aware, Hideaki is quiet and reserved. While highly knowledgeable, you may have to initiate the conversations.

We spent a wonderful morning with Hideaki on our first full day in Tokyo. He took us to several spots both serene (the Meiji Shrine where we saw a wedding, and the Shinjuku gyoen gardens) and high energy (Takeshita Dori street and the crazy Don Quixote store in Shinjuku… KitKat Sake is a thing by the way). Hideaki had so much cultural insight to offer and spoke often of his own childhood and his family today which helped create context for us and made for a great intro to Tokyo. Thank you Hideaki!
