Eat, Explore, Relax for 4 Hours in Tokyo

Gulay was exceptional as our tour guide in Tokyo. She was friendly, engaging and incredibly knowledgeable about the city’s history, culture, and temples. She explained everything clearly, answered all of our questions, and shared fascinating details that brought each place to life. She was extremely patient with our large group, including a 16-month-old who just learned to walk and liked to do so. She went the extra mile helping us navigate the city and took the time to ensure we enjoyed our tours and knew where we were going. It was a pleasure spending time with Gulay and I enjoyed the visit to the old part of Tokyo not bombed during the war it was not crowded and peaceful after the high rises of the city. We also visited shrines, and temples and a graveyard all delightful and interesting. We stopped at a cafe with delicious gluten free crepes, visited a charming art gallery and amazing shop selling only socks of every colour imaginable. Gulay is a charming guide and makes everything personal for her guests and we also experienced the train rides which would be a huge challenge without her help. I cannot recommend Gulay enough this was my 2nd time with her. She was able to reschedule our time when the original day booked was just too hot to be out and about the day after long flight from Canada.

My wife and I had a terrific time with Gulay. She took us to Shimokitazawa for some excellent vintage shopping. She showed us how to navigate the train system and lots of helpful advice about traveling through Tokyo that we utilized throughout our trip. She was very understanding and patient and was great to talk to. We would highly recommend her again!
