YUICHI IS THE BEST!!!!! Truly, we really enjoyed our day with Yu. He knows and loves Tokyo. Yu took time to show us his favorite places and the highlights of Tokyo. The fish market was really interesting. It is amazingly fresh and clean and everything looked delicious. Even though it was extremely hot that day, Yu found oasis of calm in Meiji Jingu Garden and Shrine. Yu was especially fantastic in taking us to places that interested our 21yo daughter. We mentioned she liked manga, specifically Ito Junji, and Yu took us to a collectibles store which had his merch and many others that were really interesting. Yu then took us to stores that cater to alternative fashion. Each little area had items from independent, small, local designers. All designers and salespeople were really friendly and helpful. It was great to see such creative work that is outside the norm of what you typically see on the streets. We bought several items of clothing and accessories there. We really enjoyed our experience with Yu and highly recommend him as a guide. If you want something out of the ordinary, go with YUICHI-san!

My 17 year old son and I had the best time on this tour. Yu did a great job showing us around Tokyo. We learned a lot about the history and got a great feel for the city. He also anticipated our every need. If our hands were sticky from eating candied strawberries, he had a wipe for us. When we cleansed at the shrine, he had a towel to dry our hands. He taught us how to use the trains which gave us the confidence to use them for the rest of our stay. We highly recommend this tour.

He took the time to show us how the Japanese experience a Shinto temple and pray. We’ve followed that tradition in other shrines we have visited since.
