Hello. My name is Ayumi. I was born and raised in Osaka. I worked for a telecommunications company for many years and lived mainly in Osaka and a bit in Wakayama. I still work for that company and also work as a guide. My hobbies are eating out, chatting with friends and going for drives to see beautiful scenery. Let me tell you a bit about why I got my guide license. I have been volunteering for over 20 years supporting Japanese language learners from many different countries. As part of that volunteer work, I took part in bus tours with Japanese language learners every year, and I fell in love with telling foreigners about Japan and its attractions, so I decided to get a licence. It was a bit of a challenge to get the license, but it made guiding more enjoyable as I met many wonderful senior guides and fellow guides. During my guiding career, I experienced excursion tours for international conferences and specially organised tours to places related to my clients' ancestors. I also have extensive experience as a meet and greet and transit assistant at airports. The city I would most like to introduce to foreigners visiting Japan is Osaka. Of course Tokyo and Kyoto are wonderful cities, but Osaka is very warm-hearted and nostalgic. A must-see in Osaka, but still little known, is the fishing port right next to Kansai Airport. It is great fun to visit the fishing port while it is open. I can help you walk the streets at your own pace without the language anxiety and differences in customs that many visitors feel when travelling to Japan. I can also arrange…… ・Koyasan (Mt. Koya) ・Kumano Kodo Highlight Course ・Fish market tour near Kansai International AirportPlease let me know your wishes. I can help you create wonderful memories of your trip to Japan.
