This city is full of fun places and delicious gourmet food. Since my university days, I have interacted with and exchanged cultures with many international students. I lived in Poland for about half a year, where I experienced the cultural and dietary differences between Europe and Japan. I started working as a guide in April 2024, and it has now been about a year. Alongside guiding, I also work at a restaurant in Osaka known for its delicious dumplings. We’ll explore some of Osaka’s most iconic sights using a combination of metro, Kintetsu train, and walking. Along the way, you’ll soak in the city’s vibrant atmosphere and distinctive charm. The tour will end in front of the iconic Glico sign in Dotonbori—a lively district packed with shops, restaurants, and entertainment, making it the perfect place to continue your adventure on your own. For lunch, we can stop either at a shopping mall in Tennoji or at the bustling Kuromon Market. If you have any preferences or cravings, feel free to let me know in advance so I can help choose the best spot for your meal! *If you join the tour from a cruise ship, I will drop off you to the port.

Mr. Takutomo H was guide in Osaka, Japan. All day private tour: Taku spoke excellent English, was charming, very organized and had planned an interesting tour, visiting the historic castle, green areas of the city, popular market (fish and eating area) area, and more intimate shrine in a less-touristic area at the base of the hills. He carried charts and illustrations that helped explain architecture, history, and cultural/religious aspects of Japanese society. The highlights for me were nice suggestions for lunch spots ... and sake. For sure, will try to connect with Mr. Taku the next time I am in Osaka. THANK YOU Arigatou gozaimasu.

Taku was outstanding. He crafted a wonderful day for us and we went all over the city, easily using public transportation. Interesting anecdotes and fluent English. We saw the major sights and then had a delicious lunch in the market. He took us to his favorites including a literal hole in the wall that has been serving for 130 years where we had the best beef sandwich of our lives. Can’t say enough good things about Taku!
