Unique History Tour in Osaka

We had a fantastic private tour of Osaka with Atsuko and really appreciated how well she planned the day. We met Atsuko at Umeda Station at 9AM, and from the very beginning she made the tour smooth, informative, and enjoyable. Our first stop was Osaka Castle, an impressive and beautiful landmark. Atsuko shared detailed historical insights about the castle and its significance, which helped us better understand what we were seeing as we explored the grounds. Next, we visited Shitenno-ji Temple, known as one of Japan’s oldest temples. The peaceful atmosphere and Atsuko’s explanations about the temple’s history and cultural importance made this stop especially memorable. We then headed to the lively Dotonbori area where we saw the iconic Glico Running Man Sign and enjoyed tasting delicious local Osaka street food. Atsuko recommended great food options and gave us time to soak in the vibrant atmosphere. Our tour concluded with a visit to the observatory at Umeda Sky Building. The panoramic city views were a perfect ending to a wonderful day of sightseeing. Overall, Atsuko was friendly, knowledgeable, and very organized, making it easy to explore Osaka without worrying about navigation or timing. We highly recommend Atsuko to anyone looking for a stress-free and enriching Osaka experience.

We had a great Tour with Atsuko Not only was the Tour really great with all that we saw and the information Atsuko shared with us but it was also great to chat about Atsuko’s family and the parallels between her family and ours. She has a good sense of humour and we found that made the day very relaxing and enjoyable.
